Daniel G. Loggi, Jr., DMD
Dr. Daniel Loggi, Jr. is a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon and native of southern New Jersey, born and raised in Northfield. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and the Univeristy of Medicine & Dentistry – New Jersey Dental School. Dr. Loggi did his oral & maxillofacial surgery training at UMDNJ-University Hospital in Newark, NJ, then the only level one trauma center in the state. During his residency training he traveled abroad to Venezuela for additional orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery training and to North Wales in the UK for additional pathology and reconstructive surgery experience. He also traveled to Guatamala with Healing the Children of New England to perform cleft lip and palate surgery. He returned to southern New Jersey to begin private practice in 1992.
Dr. Loggi is the chief of oral & maxillofacial surgery at Cape Regional Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a fellow of the American Board of Dental Anesthesiology and a fellow of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member a various state and local societies as well as past president of the Atlantic Cape May County Dental Society. He has been the editor & publisher of the Atlantic Cape May County Dental Society Bulletin, a monthly newsletter sent to all members of the society, since 1997.
Although his initial training was heavily weighted in maxillofacial trauma & reconstruction, his current interests are in dental implant reconstruction and bone grafting. When not working he enjoys tennis, boating, music and guitar, spending the majority of his time with his family, his wife Robin, their three children and their two pugs.
