Matthew S. Tenaglia, DMD

Dr. Tenaglia joins us from the Philadelphia area, where he was born and raised. He initially earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Temple University and spent several years working within the IT and  non-profit sectors. He then went on to study Biology at West Chest University where he performed research in the area of neuropharmacology, receiving multiple publications. He subsequently attended Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry, where he served as Treasurer and Vice President of the Oral Surgery Society and was selected to join the Honors Oral Surgery Training program. Additional highlights included being selected for the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society, being elected to serve on the Honor Board, and serving as Treasurer for the Xi Psi Phi organization in preparation for a mission trip to rural Jamaica. He completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he received training in dentoalveolar surgery, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma, pathology, temporomandibular joint surgery and maxillofacial reconstruction. In his spare time he enjoys listening to and playing music, and has performed in various groups across the US and Europe.
